Hair Restoration with PRP

AM Skin Health & Plastic Surgery is pleased to announce the addition of hair restoration with PRP to our service offerings. A therapeutic option for both men and women experiencing hair loss, PRP is a treatment using the patient’s own Platelet Rich Plasma to encourage natural hair growth. The platelet-rich plasma is derived from blood and is full of growth factors, nutrients and anti-inflammatory agents to help stimulate the hair follicles in the scalp. PRP is also used with microneedling as an anti-aging treatment for the face, and can also be used to treat acne scarring, other types of scarring and stretch marks.

This non-surgical option is done during an in-office visit to our Lambertville, MI clinic, and requires several treatments for best results. We are currently recommending a series of 3-4 treatments done 4 weeks apart, with additional treatments done for maintenance every 4-6 months after the initial series is completed. As with any aesthetic non-surgical treatment, individual needs will be evaluated and recommendations may vary.
