Kendra decided to pursue a career in Aesthetics after watching her sister suffer with acne. “Watching her go through this lengthy and sometimes complicated process made me realize I wanted to help people with their skin. Having a job where I could help people feel better about themselves and gain confidence seemed like a good fit for me”, says Kendra. She received her Associates Degree in Science from Monroe County Community College in 2012 and then went on to attend the Salon Professional Academy for Aesthetics in Perryburg, Ohio in 2013. Kendra is a licensed Medical Aesthetician in the state of Michigan and has additional certificates in Jane Iredale Cosmetics and Dermaplaning.

Working both as a Patient Coordinator and Medical Aesthetician for AM Skin Health and Plastic Surgery gives Kendra the opportunity to get to know the patients very well and work closely with them to coordinate their care. “My goal as a provider is to give my patients the results they want along with a positive experience in a comfortable environment. No judgment”, says Kendra. “If my patients leave feeling happy, relaxed and cared for, then I did something right. ” She believes that all women need to treat themselves every once in a while, remember to have fun and not take themselves too seriously.

Kendra is passionate about health and wellness and believes that we should all strive to take care of ourselves from the inside out. She takes skin health seriously, which means not putting a bunch of synthetic products on your face or body. “Quality ingredients are a must for optimal skin health, she says, even with makeup.
