Microneedling is an innovative technology that rejuvenates the skin, improves the texture and firmness of the skin, as well reduces the appearance of scars, pore size, and stretch marks.
A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin.
This process, which is also known as collagen induction therapy, generates visible results with no significant downtime. At AM, we use MicroPen evo™ by Eclipse® for all of our microneedling procedures.
What to expect with Microneedling:
- A comfortable procedure – our Aesthetic professionals will make sure you are as comfortable as possible during the procedure.
- A short procedure time – the procedure takes less then one hour.
- A mild sensation – most of our patients report feeling a slight vibration during the procedure.
- Slightly pink to red skin – your skin may look and feel like you have a slight sunburn immediately after the procedure.
- Beautiful results – including smoother, brighter, more youthful looking skin in just a few days after your first treatment!

Microneedling with Customized Add-Ons
Microneedling can also be done with the addition of customizable add-on treatments for more intensive and targeted results. Treament programs can be customized to encourage additional anti-aging/collagen boosting effects, minimize pigmentation issues, additional texture smoothing benefits, acne or acne scarring and more.
This non-surgical rejuvenation can be done during a visit to our Lambertville, MI office and requires several treatments for best results.
Many patients benefit from a series of 3 treatments, however your AM aesthetician will make a recommendation based on each patient’s needs.
Check out the table below for some examples of add-on treatments we offer for Microneedling and their benefits.
Exosomes are the latest technology to hit the world of skincare. Exosomes are extracted from human cells and have many applications, including wound healing, hair restoration, and of course our favorite – skin rejuvenation. Exosomes are an excellent upgrade from our previous PRP offering (platelet rich plasma), as they are more consistent than relying on the patient’s own blood/platelets. Exosomes are also 10 to 100 times more potent, and easily accessible. We love boosting our in-office treatments with exosomes because they can help to calm skin post-procedure, speed the healing process, creating new skin cells, building collagen, minimizing fine lines, fading pigment, and encouraging healthy circulation. Besides boosting our in-office treatments, exosomes are gaining traction in the treatment of redness/rosacea, plus showing promising results for acne prone individuals.
Tranexamic Acid is a powerful yet gentle ingredient to help fade skin discoloration of any kind and can be added to microneedling or other aesthetic services to help minimize hyperpigmentation. This option is fantastic for melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, or sun damage due to its effect on multiple pathways in the skin that can lead to discoloration. Some studies show that TXA also helps strengthen the skin barrier, and it may even help calm redness or rosacea.
